J*DaVey: NDD Digital Liner Notes

New Designer Drug contains 11 tracks and will be available as a free bonus when fans buy NDD: The Liner Notes digital booklet via for $2.99. The Liner Notes features lyrics, exclusive tour photos, a foreword from LA Weekly's Rebecca Haithcoat, and a detailed explanation of the group's journey from before they were signed to Warner Bros. until now, as told by Miss Jack Davey. "Seeing this project through has been a test of strength, will, and ultimate patience. On this day of final delivery, I feel the same empowerment I felt the day we started this long awaited album," says Jack. The album features guest appearances and influences from an army of talented producers, songwriters, and vocalists including Polyester The Saint, Khari Ferrari, Thundercat, Kenneth Crouch, ?uestlove, Greg Wells, Dave Sitek, and more.

J*DaVeY, a duo consisting of female vocalist Jack Davey and male producer Brook D'Leau, fuses the past, present, and future, creating a sound that is never stagnant and always difficult to pigeonhole. After releasing The Beauty In Distortionand The Land Of The Lost double EP in 2008, being featured everywhere from The Fader to Allure to CSI: New York, and performing with the likes of The Roots and Prince, J*DaVeY are continuously building on their already deafening buzz. So far this year, the duo have released two free EP’s, Evil Christian Cop and Boudoir Synema, as part of The Great Mistapes series, launched a their new label imprint, The ILLAV8R, and toured the US and Europe. Now, they are finally ready to release their first full-length album, New Designer Drug.

Featuring the guest production efforts of ?uestlove of The RootsGreg Wells, and Khari Farrai, NDD will be released as part of a digital booklet released by SMG | Books and distributed by Overt The Edge Books. The project will be available on November 22nd for $2.99 on iTunes.
